Salinas Grandes
We took a tour of the great salt fpats north of Jujuy today, they were really amazing. To get there we took a van ride and crossed this mountain range which reached a top height of over 4000 meters. If I look weird it's because I am perched very carefully on this rock!At that height it's cold-brrr! Like my new sweater? It's alpaca wool, very warm!

The salt flats stretch for miles! During the winter they are all under water.
The pools are very good for your skin. I am shivering though, the temperature it Arctic!
This restaurant is made completely of salt! It is no longer running, though, as the bathrooms were causing a bit of a sanitation problem. Too bad, we think it would be a great place to have a margarita!
The interior of the restaurant. It's all salt!
Art class shot...
Me on a salt llama-once in a lifetime opportunity!
Just to be sure...
